As part of Armstrong’s Black History Month, “The Crossroads of Freedom and Equality,” Celebrating the Connection of Cultures will look at the long history of interconnectedness between Latinos and African-Americans. The event will not only examine the Latino/African diaspora, but the discussion will also celebrate the commonalities and distinct uniqueness between the cultures and evaluate ways in which these communities can foster a stronger relationship.
